1. How do I book a bouncy castle from you?

You can reserve a bouncy castle through our website by clicking the "Book Now" button on the specific castle you'd like to hire. If you encounter any difficulties with the booking form, feel free to reserve your castle by sending us a WhatsApp message at 079 7386 1615. Please include your event date, venue address, email address, and the bouncy castle you've chosen. Alternatively, you can also reach out to us using our contact form or simply give us a call. We're here to help!

2. How and when do I pay for my bouncy castle hire?

We provide two payment options: Cash and Bank transfer to our business account. Payment is due in full upon delivery and setup of your bouncy castle. If you opt to pay in cash, please have the full amount ready when we arrive. While a deposit is not mandatory, it is advisable to secure your booking, especially if you are booking more than a week in advance. The deposit can be made via bank transfer, with the remaining balance payable upon delivery.

3. What if it rains?

Our bouncy castle for hire have been designed for use in indoors/outdoors conditions and all our outdoor castles come with rain covers. However, when wet the equipment may become slippery and therefore increase the possibility of injury to users. In such cases the equipment should not be used. Where there are high winds the equipment should be deflated.

4. How much room do you need to bring the bouncy castle in?

A standard walk through gate is fine. We bring the unit rolled up and wheel it in a standard hand truck. If a person can comfortably walk through, we can fit the bouncy castle through too! Please note we will deliver where we need access through the property.

5. My garden has a slight slopes, will that be OK?

Yes. A gentle slope is generally manageable. Usually, we'll position the entrance of the unit at the top of any incline. However, if the slope is too steep, we may not be able to set up the castle there. In such cases, our installer may suggest an alternative location, so it's helpful if you have one in mind. Safety is our top priority, so choosing a suitable setup area is crucial.

6. Is your equipment safe?

Absolutely! All our equipment is PAT tested and checked regularly to ensure safety and quality. Our bouncy castles are meticulously designed with safety as the top priority. Moreover, we go over all safety guidelines with you before you start using them. While no one can guarantee complete safety, we take every measure possible to ensure that our products are used safely, so you can focus on having a fun-filled day without any worries

7. My party is tomorrow. Can I still get a rental?

Maybe! Give us a call and we will try to work it in.

8. What are the appropriate ages for bouncing?

The majority of our equipment is supplied for those up to and including 13 years old with a height restriction of 180cms and a weight restriction of 100kg.

9. How many children can fit in a bouncy castle?

Generally speaking, between 6 and 12 kids at one time. This really depends on the size of the children and the castle.

10. Does the bouncy castle need electricity?

Yes. We will bring an extension lead with us, so you'll need an outlet near the set up area. The blower runs continuously through the day. All blowers and wiring are PAT tested.

11. What time do you deliver and pickup the bouncy castle?

We deliver between 7am and Midday and collect from 4pm. We try and accommodate your timings within our delivery schedule where possible and will be able to confirm an approximate time of delivery nearer your event.

12. How far in advance do I need to order?

We suggest 3-5 weeks before your scheduled party date. However, we often have inventory available for last minute bookings and if our delivery schedule allows and if you are not too picky about style preference. All units are booked on a first come first served basis and it is our priority to not let anybody down!

13. How much room does the bouncy castle need?

You will need to add at least 3 feet around the perimeter and further space for the blower, so approximately an area of 15ft width and 19ft length for a 12ft x 14ft bouncy castle. If you're not sure what size your yard is, you can measure it or "walk it off" heel to toe in a man's shoe (it'll be about 1 foot per step) to approximate. If you can imagine two parked cars side by side in your set up area, most likely we can fit the unit in that area. Don't forget your vertical clearance! You'll need an area free of low wires and branches, about 14 - 16 feet high.

14. Can I keep the bouncy castle over night?

We can do overnights at an additional charge of Β£35. This will depend on whether the castle is booked by another customer for the following morning and if we have the ability to collect. Where an overnight stay is agreed, the bouncy castle must be set up in a back garden or area that is fenced and locked up. The fence must be at least 4 feet tall. Ben 'n' Jacks reserves the right to deny any event of this service. Ben 'n' Jacks also reserves the right to cancel the over night portion of any event at any time if we have reason to believe that our property is at risk of injury or theft.

15. Can we pick-up the bouncy castle ourselves?

No. In fact, Ben 'n' Jacks does not allow for this. All of our drivers are trained as professional installers and are certified by Ben 'n' Jacks to be the exclusive installer of our equipment. Our insurance requires that our installers do an onsite inspection as well. Where the safety of your children is concerned, we do not take any chances.

16. When are you open?

Our office is open from 8am to 8pm weekdays. Our customer support lines are open continually on the weekends. If you happen to get voice mail at any time, please leave your name and number and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
